Objective:

The Shanghai International IP Forum 2010 is designed to provide an interactive platform for exchanges among government, academic and business circles on the building of innovative cities with the angle of intellectual property. Through dialogue, discussion and speeches, voices on the development of intellectual property and innovative cities will be brought together. The different perspectives will help us to examine and seek solutions for some of the most pressing issues in the forming of comprehend IP system and long-term development of innovative cities.

Background:

The Shanghai International IP Forum 2010 is also the 7^th Shanghai International IP Forum organized by Shanghai Municipal Intellectual Property Administration (SIPA). With the support from the State Intellectual Property Office of China (SIPO) and Shanghai Municipal People’s Government, SIPA has successfully organized the Forum “Intellectual Property & Enterprises’ Competitiveness” on 2003, the Forum “Intellectual Property & City’s Competitiveness” on 2004, the Forum “Intellectual Property Protection & Creative Industries Development” on 2005, the Forum “Intellectual Property & Self-Innovation” on 2006, the Forum “Impact of WTO TRIPS Agreement on the Economic Development of Asian Countries” on 2007, and the Forum “Intellectual Property Services and Transactions” on 2008 .

Participation:

The Shanghai International IP Forum 2010 provides communication opportunities for experts & professionals from IPR organizations, academic & research institutions, hi-tech companies & industrial parks, IPR service providers and officials from IPR related government authorities both home and abroad.
