Mr. LU Guoqiang
Secretary General of Shanghai Intellectual Property Joint Committee,

Mr. LU Guoqiang holds the Bachelor degree of Laws, Master degree of Laws and Ph.D. degree of Management. He used to be the visiting scholar at Harvard University, the University of British Columbia, and the Max Planck Institute for Intellectual Property, Competition and Tax Law.Mr. LU Guoqiang used to be the Chief Judge in the Intellectual Property Division of the Shanghai High People"s Court, the Vice-President of Shanghai Second Intermediate People"s Court. He earned the honor of “National Trial Business Expert” by the Supreme People’s Court in China in 2009. He was also one of “the Top 10 Most influential people for IPR Protection in China in 2010”, and was twice in the list of "the Top 50 influential people in IP "by Managing Intellectual Property in the year 2009 and 2012.
Ms. Shang Yuying
Director-General of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce
Ms. Shang Yuying, born in January 1965, ethnic Han, native of Taiyuan, Shanxi Province, is a Senior Economist, with a Master degree in Industrial Management and Engineering from Xi’an Jiaotong University. Now, She is the Party Secretary and Chairwoman of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce. Since starting her career in 1989, Mdm. Shang has assumed several important positions. She was appointed as Deputy General Manager of Shanghai Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd; Vice President of Shanghai Electric; Deputy District Mayor of Shanghai Pudong New Area; member of the District Party Standing Committee and Deputy District Mayor of Luwan Dstrict; Vice Chairwoman of Shanghai Economy and Information Commission; Director-General of Shanghai Municipal Office of Scientific & Technological Industry of National Defense.
Mr. Christian Wichard
Deputy Director General of World Intellectual Property Organization
Mr. Wichard (Germany) oversees the Sector for Global Issues which brings together a number of programs that address horizontal, cross-cutting issues, notably:
- Traditional Knowledge (TK), Traditional Cultural Expressions (TCEs) and Genetic Resources (GR);
- Arbitration, Mediation and Domain Names;
- Cooperation with Certain Countries in Europe and Asia;
Building Respect for IP; - IP and Global Challenges;
- IP and Competition Policy;
- Communications; and
- External Relations.
Mr. Wichard previously served as deputy director general for commercial and economic law in the German Federal Ministry of Justice, where he was responsible for all aspects of the government’s IP policy. From 1998 to 2006, he worked at WIPO in the Industrial Property Law Division and the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center.

The range of the companies were related to cutting edge innovative product developments in markets like Aerospace, Automotive, Industrial Automation, Telecom- and Mobile Communication, Electronic and Semiconductor Industry.
Mr. Li Zhonghua

Mr. Zhonghua Li is currently the Vice President of China Technology Exchange supervising the national technology exchange"s technology transaction business. Mr. Li got his Bachelor and Master degrees of Medicine from Peking University and MBA from Case Western Reserve University in US. Mr. Li was once the Deputy Director of IP exchange at China Beijing Exchange and the Assistant President of China Technology Exchange. Mr. Li has extensive experience in technology licensing, financing and IP commercialization.
Mr. Toshiya Watanabe

Mr. Toshiya Watanabe is currently a Professor of Research Center for Advanced Science and Technology of The University of Tokyo. He is also a Professor of Department of Technology Management for Innovation, The graduate school of Enginring, The University of Tokyo. He has served as Professional Committee Member of Council for Science and Technology Policy, Professional Committee Member of Intellectual Property Strategy Headquarters and other many Committee members of Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and Cabinet Office. He is a founder and current director of Intellectual Property Association of Japan. Current research field of Toshiya Watanabe is intellectual property management. He has authored eight books and authored approximately 100 academic papers.
Mr. Zhu Miaochun

Mr. Zhu Miaochun is the director of Shanghai Zhu Miaochun Law Firm and has engaged in intellectual property areas for 30 years. He has handled about one thousand cases and has published ten books. Currently he is one of the members of the China Copyright Association, part-time professor of Renmin University of China and East China University of Science and Technology, specially invited research fellow of the Intellectual Property Research Center of Fudan University, Master Instructor of Shanghai Jiaotong University and Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, the chief legal adviser of Lu Xun family, the legal adviser of Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park. He had the honor to be one of the Top Ten Lawyers in China. He has handled many difficult IPR cases of various types, including copyright, patent, trademark infringement, unfair competition, trade secrets and internet infringement cases, as well as other non-litigation IPR business.

Ningling Wang serves as the managing partner of the firm’s Shanghai Office. Her practice involves patent prosecution, opinions, due diligence, client counseling, licensing, and patent litigation in the areas of chemicals,chemical engineering, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, semiconductor materials, and nanotechnology. Ms. Wang has extensive experience working with multinational and Chinese companies, providing legal advice on IP portfolio management, due diligence, licensing, and trade secret protection and enforcement. She has been involved in various cases before the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) and U.S. district courts.
